Online event: 18th November 2025
Today we met online with colleagues from LiU, UiS and UAB to share and discuss about the progress of the project. A total of 30 academics attended the meeting. It was very important for the project team to formally present the project in our own institutions.

Great success of the first course!

We are very pleased with how the course went. Very interesting discussions and site visits, delightful students and a team of professionals well engaged and eager to learn from each other. The feedback questionnaire passed to the students reflected the overall satisfaction with this week full of professional and personal experiences. We are looking forward to next course in Stavanger, 2-6th March!
First Micromodule running already!
We are excited to announce the start of the first mobility course as part of the project deliverables. From September 29th to October 3rd, Linköping University will hot the micromodule “Democracy and Equity in Early Childhood Eduction”. Students will enjoy a week of seminars, workshops, site visits to preschools and outdoor activities while learning about democracy and diversity.




Kick-off of the Project’s Pilot Course

On Monday, September 15 at 4:00 PM, we officially launched the pilot course designed within the framework of our project.
Participants from several European universities will have the opportunity to share perspectives and exchange views on the key topics of the training. This meeting marks an important step in putting into practice the materials and methodologies jointly developed by the working group.
We are confident that this pilot experience will make a valuable contribution to enriching the final program and strengthening collaboration among institutions.
Getting Ready for the Course in Norrköping!
Our working group continues to meet regularly to finalize the details of the course that will take place in Norrköping from September 29 to October 3.
These meetings allow us to coordinate more effectively, share ideas, and ensure that all aspects of the program are well defined. We are working both on the content of the sessions and on logistical aspects, with the aim of offering a comprehensive and enriching experience for all participants.

First dissemination action: presentation in a Conference in Spain

From 3rd to 4th July 2025 takes place in San Sebastián – SPAIN, the “XIII Multidisciplinary International Congress of Educational Research – CIMIE25”.
The UAB team presents the project and explains the research carried out to determine the current knowledge for the intercultural competence among Early Childhood Education students. The focus lies in the preliminary results from the Spanish participants.
2nd Workshop 7th – 9th April
From 7th to 9th April, the second workshop of the INCO-ECTE project took place in UiS. The central task was to further develop the content of course 1 and continue with preparations for course 2.
This time we had the opportunity to have a workshop with students from UiS to discuss the challenges and possibilities around cultural sensitivity.
UAB’s Working Meeting 13th -15th January

From January 13th to 15th, a working meeting of the INCO-ECTE project took place in UAB’s: Innovative Collaboration – Developing Intercultural Competences in Early Childhood Teacher Education (Erasmus + KA220-HED).
Among the tasks carried out during the meetings, we set the dates for the first course, which will take place in Linköping, Sweden, from September 29 to October 3, 2025.
